About Carlos Alexandre
I work with the methods I used throughout my journey as a music student, but my experience and experience brought the discipline to be how much to use each method to achieve the desired result. My search is based on developing a solid technique so that music comes naturally from the student. The main methods to be worked on are Hans Sitt, Sevcik, Dont, Mazas, Kreutzer, and, for violists, it is important to approach methods such as the studies by Hoffmeister and Campagnoli. I like to bring a historical approach to interpretation, thus making it possible to contextualize the practice.

I graduated from the Conservatoire of Tatuí-SP in Viola, Viola Barroca and Regência, where I was able to act as a scholarship holder in groups of the institution such as the Symphonic Orchestra, Youth Symphony Orchestra and Historical Performance Ensemble in addition to all the practice in chamber music and work as a monitor for groups of beginning and intermediate students. I participated in the Young Musicians Project of Piracicaba-SP taking classes and acting in the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra of Piracicaba-SP. When I moved to São Paulo-SP, I started studying at the Baccarelli Institute, playing at the Heliópolis Symphonic Orchestra, taking viola and chamber music classes with important names in the music scene. Also in São Paulo, I specialize in Ancient Music at the Municipal School of Music in São Paulo and take classes within the Nucleus of Ancient Music at Emesp, with an emphasis on Viola Barroca. I have participated in many national festivals, taking classes with important names in the national and international music scene. I participate in the Camerata Sé Project, a group specialized in acting within the choral repertoire, both sacred and profane. In Botucatu-SP, my hometown, I gave classes from 2008 to 2015, both privately and in schools, these being violin, viola, guitar, guitar and group practice. I also worked with the Municipal Symphonic Orchestra of Botucatu-SP and other regional groups.
