“My goal as a singing teacher is to help you condition your voice so you can sing without any breaks or sudden changes in quality from the bottom of your range to the very top” What to expect? Lessons are designed to follow your interest or goals. Whether you are wanting to pursue singing lessons as a joyful hobby or to fix a specific problem with your voice, I will work together with you at your own pace to help you achieve great results! I will use the IVA technique - which has been used and tested by Grammy Award Winners and countless actors and performers in film and TV. You will learn to: Sing with ease and power through your entire range without straining or going breathy. Discover, strengthen and connect different parts of your voice. Build stamina and flexibility in your voice. Improve clarity and breath control. Apply correct technique and tools so you can sing your favorite songs with confidence, expression and creativity! 'Portia is an incredibly gifted singing teacher. In a short space of time, Portia has helped unlock a new level of potential and performance for our daughter. Her obvious talent for diagnosing and maximizing our daughter's capabilities, combined with her naturally kind, patient, professional and empathetic teaching style, has brought a great deal of enjoyment (and improvement). Bravo!' — Matt C 'Portia, is an extremely technically skilled and patient teacher. I am very happy with how the classes are progressing as I started off with no experience and can tell she has the experience to teach singing students of a range of levels. I like how she really focuses on what my voice is doing, is able to quickly pick up on what I'm doing wrong, corrects it and then works really well with my voice and goals. She's very thorough and I enjoy doing exercises to practice throughout the week. Very welcoming as well, 10/10' — Lucille D “Very good teacher! Portia was so patient with me the whole time. If you're a beginner looking for a singing teacher then hit her up right now! She is such a friendly and positive person. Thanks so much.” — Bethany W

I have always dreamed of becoming the next Adele. Portia made my dream come true. She was so patient and gave amazing advice. I’m ready to go on “The Voice” next season
Portia has actually given a fantastic lesson to myself. I have tried out other tutors but they never really understood some of the faults that I was making.
She was really patient and understanding to me!
Highly recommend!View more recommendations
