About Blair
I hold a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and have spent the last 10 years helping singers strengthen technique and develop confidence. My love for singing began through performance experiences, ensemble participation, and years of vocal study. Teaching allows me to combine artistic passion with meaningful mentorship. Supporting students as they discover their unique voices remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. Every learner brings a different story and perspective to music.
My teaching approach is built on encouragement, patience, and individualized support. I believe every voice deserves careful attention and thoughtful guidance. Lessons are adapted to each student's strengths, goals, and challenges while maintaining a clear structure for improvement. Technical development is balanced with creative expression so that learning remains engaging and meaningful. This creates a positive environment where growth feels achievable.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring vocal traditions, attending live performances, and studying music from different cultures. These interests inspire my lessons and help me bring fresh ideas into the learning experience. Watching students gain confidence and reach meaningful goals is deeply rewarding. I strive to create lessons that are supportive, motivating, and effective. My goal is to help learners build voices that reflect both skill and authenticity.

My singing lessons are designed to help students connect with their voices in a natural and meaningful way. I focus on breath support, vocal placement, resonance awareness, phrasing, pitch accuracy, articulation, and expressive communication through structured yet creative learning experiences. Students are encouraged to explore their unique vocal qualities while developing strong technical foundations. Lessons balance practical training with artistic exploration so that singers can grow both technically and emotionally. This approach helps create confidence and consistency.
Each learner receives personalized instruction based on individual goals and experience levels. Activities may include vocal reflection exercises, visualization techniques, interpretation practice, performance preparation, and confidence-building routines. Students who seek deeper emotional expression are guided through activities that strengthen connection to lyrics and musical storytelling. Constructive feedback helps learners improve while maintaining motivation and enjoyment. This individualized approach supports lasting progress.
My goal is to help students feel comfortable expressing themselves through singing. As confidence develops, learners become more willing to take creative risks and share their voices with others. Lessons encourage self-awareness, persistence, and artistic growth. Every achievement contributes to stronger vocal ability and personal confidence.
