About Florida
Graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from the University of Oklahoma provided the foundation for my 13 years in the industry. My ears hum with the clear resonance of a balanced belt, catching even the slightest tension in a singer's throat. After shifting from performing to teaching, I began helping students navigate the complexities of vocal health.
I work closely with SLPs to support singers rebuilding after nodules or unsafe habits. Over the years, I have helped countless individuals refine their microphone technique, performance confidence, and genre styling. Whether you are prepping for exams or focusing on belting, I am here to offer honest guidance. Please reach out if you would like to begin working together.

Pacing matters more than intensity during our sessions, because your voice needs space to settle between challenging exercises. You might find that we spend the bulk of our time on quiet breathing control rather than loud singing, which feels strange at first.
This approach ensures your resonance remains healthy and sustainable for your long term goals. My BFA from the University of Oklahoma informs every adjustment I suggest for your diction and articulation.
Sight singing is often a hurdle, so we tackle it by breaking down complex rhythms into tiny, manageable segments. If you struggle with tone, we will experiment with varied placement until your sound feels natural.
My studio provides free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes for all students. Using my background in musical theatre, I help you bridge the gap between technical drill and artistic expression. These 10 essential routines act as a roadmap for your daily practice. I look forward to keeping your voice strong and steady throughout your journey.
