About Isla
My teaching approach centers around celebrating small wins and building strong, healthy vocal habits that last. I design vocal warm-ups and daily drills tailored to each student’s needs, making practice both effective and enjoyable. We use note tracking and lyric analysis to deepen understanding and keep progress clear and exciting. I know fear of failure can hold singers back, so I focus on building confidence step by step with plenty of positive reinforcement. Together, we break goals into manageable pieces, and I encourage celebrating every milestone—big or small—using goal charts or personalized practice playlists. Some students thrive with clear structure and routine, while others flourish through inspiration and creative exploration. I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre Voice. I specialize in helping actors, dancers, and public speakers enhance their vocal clarity, projection, and stage presence. My lessons focus on vocal articulation and breath dynamics to ensure your voice carries with strength and control. Confidence drills are a key part of my teaching, designed to build your self-assurance one step at a time.
