I understand that there is no singular universal technique, and my goal is to find what is going to work best for each individual student. I work regularly across the country as an actor, musician, and music director, and I am well-versed in teaching students from all experience levels and backgrounds. I will always prioritize making my lessons a safe, fun, and engaging space.
I specialize in musical theater and classical voice, monologue coaching, college/professional audition prep, MANY instruments and working with neurodivergent students.

Had a session with Chris to go over some technique issues I was having and within the first hour I had unlocked a bunch of things that I had forgotten. He was able to explain where to position my mouth, send my voice and gave me some great tips to open up my range even further. I look forward to more sessions with him soon!
Our son is now studying Musical Theater in NY. Chris was instrumental in helping our son know the real life of his passion; helped him with preparing his audition recordings, critiquing his resume', and provide professional guidance in the Music - Theater - Dance performing arts. He is a very sincere , professional, and caring instructor.
Chris has experience in teaching students to perform their best potential. He is and has been helping our son through in-person, online, and video chatting platforms for the last 4 years and has been invaluable for helping our son realize and go after his dreams.
Thank you Chris Coffey for your assistance for your continued help with Chase.I met Chris through the fine arts at a Pre-Professional program in July of 2021, and since then, I can credit him with my confidence and professionalism as a performer, vocal technique and health, and being integral in helping me get into the Professional Theater industry.
Adding onto the aforementioned credits, I have seen him consistently helps others as much as he did myself. He is an incredible musician, teacher, and colleague/friend!
I highly recommend Chris Coffey for any role he may step into!View more recommendations
