Salut! Je m'appelle Anuradha. Born & brought up in Delhi, India, I'm a native Hindi speaker. I've studied at a French medium school with English as a second language. I shifted to a French medium school at the age of 12 & it was then that I realized what was in store for me. Our French teacher spoke to us ONLY in French. She explained French in French & as difficult as it may sound, the mind starts to process all info in French & everything started making sense after a while. While I might not take exactly the same method to teach, I will lay a lot of stress on the basics & what's the logic behind something or where it comes from! One can never get anywhere if the foundation is not sound & since we'd not be aiming at finishing a syllabus to pass an exam, I'd prefer to work at a pace that's best suited to each student's comfort level. We'll learn colloquial French so that it's easy to go about speaking, reading, writing & understanding, basic everyday language. My classes will suit those looking at shifting base to a French-speaking country, want to be able to speak with their partner/ partner's family and friends or someone who wants to brush up their spoken skills. Since I have also worked with the French for almost 20 years now, I'm very comfortable with the language & can explain things in a simplified way. I also teach school children from primary school until high school level.
