About Catherine
Hi there! I'm Catherine, a DipABRSM Violinist with a BA (Hons) in Music, more than 25 years of experience playing my instrument, and teaching experience spanning 15 years.
I perform regularly with a London-based orchestra, and consider myself to be a lifelong student of my instrument - always looking for ways to learn and improve, which helps me understand the needs of my own students.
My love of learning and passion for people's wellbeing has led me to specialise in teaching beginners and returners to the violin. Each of my students is unique, and I take pride in designing lessons according to inidividual needs and preferences.

Learning the violin takes time and careful practice - and it can be a lot of fun, when approached with the right support and guidance!
Each of your lessons is tailored to your unique goals and preferences. After some short warm up exercises, we'll focus on technique and musicality whilst exploring a variety of repetoire.
Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills, I'll be here to guide you each step of the way!
