About Ashley
My name is Ashley and I love learning languages! I am able to speak Spanish, Japanese, Korean, a bit of French, and currently I am working on learning Tagalog. I attended the University of Texas at Austin, double majoring in Japanese and Linguistics. While I lived in Japan, I worked teaching English to Japanese individuals, ranging from 7 to 63 years old. Once returning from Japan, I continued teaching online but this time to 3 to 6 years old students. It is my passion to teach languages as I believe learning languages is not only vital to today's society, but something that can help you gain a wider understanding of the world. My lessons will consist of vocabulary reviews, learning the alphabets in Japanese, learning grammar, and as well as learning about the culture of Japan. Lessons will be derived accordingly to each individual's level. Each lesson will be set out to be entertaining, full of material that will be reviewed always in the next lesson. If there are specific areas you would like to focus on, we can work on making lessons that target those areas.
