About Valentina
I'm a 2nd year medical student at Queen Mary University of London, and previously graduated from the University of Bristol with a First Class Honours in Neuroscience at Master's level. Safe to say, I have ample experience in getting into university and preparing for exams! I'm passionate about neuroscience and human biology, and I can help you to achieve your academic goals, just as I have achieved mine.
I have tutored students of all ages, and will adapt my methods to suit your needs. Having myself studied using various different techniques and platforms (Anki flashcards, OneNote, Notion, YouTube videos, simple pen & paper), I will help you find whichever way works best for you. By being disciplined and making lessons interesting, I can enable you to improve your knowledge and skills.
I am originally Italian and attended a German school, so I am fluent in 3 languages. During my first degree, I completed a year in industry, so I will also be able to help you in finding work experience opportunities and writing cover letters.

My goal is to support your academic career with one to two-hour tutoring sessions focusing on subjects such as biology or languages (GCSEs, A-levels), or coaching you through your application to university, from personal statements to the UCAT exam.
We will set up a plan together based on your school's curriculum and your learning style. I can support you in the following ways:
