About Ambroise
I graduated from Game design & Programming at ISART Digital Paris in 2018. Among other things, I learned to use Flash, PixiJS and Unity, and worked on various games in multidisciplinary teams. In terms of languages I used AS3, JS, Haxe, C#, and C++.
I then turned to fullstack web development, where I used Typescript, JS, HTML, CSS, databases, Docker, and many other things.

The courses will use the browser-based Typescript (JS) language. The approach is video game oriented rather than web, and we will use the PixiJS graphic library, to approach the creation of 2d games.
First, I will explain the essential basics of programming (variables, operator, conditions, functions, etc.) one by one, with explanation, exercises, and example of concrete use. Then we will see the "tools" with which we create any type of game (gameloop, spawn, UI, collisions, etc.), while creating very simple games (puzzle, shoot'em up, etc.).
By acquiring the fundamentals, you will be able to give free rein to your creativity, without being limited to one type of game.
Learning to develop video games is not a dead end, if you feel like moving towards other areas of IT (web, embedded systems, server, ...), what you learn will help you greatly.
