About Santiago
Santiago was born in Medellin, Colombia. He started his music studies when he was 14 years old. He took music lessons at the Red de Escuelas of Medellin in Cello, music theory, Orchestra, and Choir. In 2008 he started his Bachelor's degree in Music on classical voice, harmony, counterpoint, musical analysis, and piano. He has performed in academic and artistic performances with University of Bellas Artes, University of Antioquia, and Prolirica Foundation of Antioquia.

The first step I take when meeting a new student is learning about their history and experience with music. Then, during the first lesson we will play a few simple tunes and do some improv. Gradually, we will dig deeper into the world of music and explore its basic elements.
