About Akua
I’m Akua Emmanuells, a passionate tutor helping students succeed in KS3 and GCSE subjects. I love maths, science, and logic, and I enjoy making tricky topics simple and fun. My tutoring style is professional, structured, and results-focused—I aim to help every student understand, gain confidence, and improve their grades. I’m experienced in helping peers and students with exam prep, homework, and problem-solving skills. I also offer free trial sessions so students and parents can see my teaching style before committing.

I like to mix explanation with hands-on work so students don’t just memorise—they truly understand. Lesson Structure: Length: Typically 45–60 minutes per session Style: Short explanations, guided practice, Q&A, and review of key points Homework/Follow-up: Optional exercises or notes to consolidate learning Qualifications & Experience: Experienced in helping others with maths, English, and science, including logic and problem-solving skills Who Lessons Are For: KS3 students (ages 11–14) who want to strengthen understanding and confidence GCSE students (ages 14–16) aiming to improve grades or prepare for exams Lessons are tailored to each student’s level, pace, and goals.
