About Fergus
I have been giving lessons for over 5 years and have 100+ hours of teaching experience. Having taught privately, within music schools and and public schools I have taught 100s of children and adults from complete beginners to advanced players, some of which have gone on to study music in their further education.

I am a professional guitarist and educator with over 15 years of experience and over 5 years of further education in music. I graduated from Leeds College of Music with a first class degree in Jazz where I specialised in Guitar.
As a tutor I tailor my lessons to the individual, whether the student wants to simply learn their favourite songs, progress through their grades or understand advanced harmony and improvisation techniques. I can help you get what you want out of playing guitar, at your own pace!
I teach many genres and I would love to hear what music you like to listen to. Why not get started by telling me what music you would like to be able to play and we can go from there!
