About Francesco
I am an economics graduate student from KCL pursuing an economics master at LSE. I am Italian, from a paradise region called Calabria. Italian is my native language, I have studied it in school for 13 years, and along with it I have studied Italian literature.

When it comes to languages learning because a bit of a struggle as the learning curve is quite steep. It takes a lot of time and an extensive learning of boring topics, before one does the break through and gains the right confidence in the language.
Yet everyone wants to learn languages, but it's really frustrating at the beginning. I therefore believe that an acceleration and facilitation of the first part of learning a language is fundamental. Making it fun and pleasant it’s a way to achieve this goal.
Instead, if you are already confidence in the language, then giving better incentives to go beyond is what is needed. Those incentives should come from the fact that the student is now ready to understand, on top of keeping learning the language, what does Italian culture mean, what kind of idioms Italians use, what is going on in Italian politics etc..
