About Andrew
I am a professional drummer and drum tutor with a passion for sharing my knowledge with others. I view drumming as one of the most rewarding musical instruments to learn, not least due to its many proven wellbeing benefits, both physically and mentally. I love to inspire my students to challenge themselves and truly enjoy their personal journey of progression. Above all else I want you to reach your goals, whatever they may be e.g. gigging with other musicians, gaining a certificate, or simply playing for yourself.

My approach to teaching is based on my strong belief that music lessons should first and foremost be engaging and fun, designed to bring out the best of your creativity, in a low pressure environment. My teaching experience ranges from students of school age to retirement age, with a specific focus on adult tuition. A typical lesson will be anywhere between 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your goals.
