About Kimberly
My musical career started at the age of 9, playing and reading music with the violin and although I like the violin, I found my true passion for music with the piano roughly a year later.
I continued my love for music in high school where I played in band, was gifted my 1st piano by my father and even learned to play other instruments such as drums and xylophone.
My college career also helped me stay connected to music with courses that helped me learn classical music and in addition to my college courses I took private lessons.
After inheriting my late grandmother's piano, teaching what I have learned about music over the last 28+ years, to my own students has been the most rewarding experience of my life!
With over 35 current students, I am so happy to find young kids that have the same passion for music that I had at that age and look forward to helping them learn, build their skills, and enjoy music on one of the most classical and beautiful instruments ever made!
