About Louie Blumes
With over a decade in music production, I’ve garnered 20 million+ streams on my tracks and performed at some of the biggest clubs in Australia. My music has reached top playlists, including Spotify’s largest Tech House playlist with over 400,000 likes.
I’ve released tracks under notable labels like Motive Records and Koala Records and featured on Future House Music’s Spotify page, accumulating millions of views across Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, and TikTok.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in music production from SAE, where I graduated with a distinction in my major work. My expertise spans various genres—from House and Hip Hop to Film Scoring—and I’ve been privileged to work with renowned artists worldwide, including close collaborations with industry leaders like Odd Mob, Westend, and Noizu.
Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced producer, my lessons are tailored to your needs. I specialise in House music but am passionate about teaching music production techniques across genres.

I offer both online lessons, using Chrome Remote Desktop to seamlessly support your Ableton session, and in-person sessions (location-dependent) to provide that hands-on experience that can make a real difference.
My lessons are not *One Size Fits All* – I am qualified to adapt at all levels. This includes starting from scratch which will look something like:
1. Ableton Basics.
2. Organising Your Workflow.
3. Ableton’s Tools – (Audio effects, Instruments etc.)
4. Third-Party vs. Native Plugins.
5. Sample Libraries – (Splice, Looperman, Sampling)
6. Starting / Managing a Track.
7. Arranging Your Track.
8. Using Audio Effects – (EQ, Compression etc.)
9. Referencing Tracks.
10. Mixing & Mastering.
11. Project File Sharing
12. Social Media – (Managing SoundCloud, Spotify etc.)
13. Releasing Music.
14. Approaching Labels.
15. Creating Content.
These are just guidelines; our lessons will be flexible and based on what you need most. I’m also available for any questions outside of our sessions, no charge.
