About Jack

I hold a three-year degree in Psychology and have completed a PGCE with a strong focus on the psychology of learning. This specialised training has equipped me with deep insight into how students acquire knowledge and develop skills. Over the past three years, I have taught Psychology to Year 10 and 11 students at a private school, tailoring my lessons to engage and challenge learners effectively. My experience allows me to create a learning environment that supports critical thinking and curiosity, while addressing individual differences. I am passionate about helping students understand human behaviour and apply psychological concepts to their lives.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is friendly and approachable, often using humour to create a relaxed and engaging classroom atmosphere. I believe learning should be enjoyable and meaningful, so I focus on building strong connections with my students to make them feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas. I teach the how and the why, helping students gain a deeper understanding rather than just memorising facts. This method encourages curiosity and critical thinking, empowering learners to apply psychological concepts confidently. By combining warmth, humour, and clear explanations, I strive to make every lesson inspiring and accessible for all students.
