As a vocal coach and performer with over 15 years of experience, my journey in music has been a blend of passion, dedication, and continuous growth. My foundation in vocal performance began with formal training and culminated in earning a Master's degree, which equipped me with a deep understanding of vocal technique, music theory, and performance dynamics.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages and skill levels, from aspiring singers just starting out to seasoned performers looking to refine their craft. In my vocal lessons, my approach is centered around empowering students to discover and develop their unique voice while cultivating a deep understanding of vocal technique, performance skills, and musical expression. For beginners, I focus on building a solid foundation in vocal technique. We work on breathing exercises, vocal warm-ups, and basic vocal exercises to develop control, range, and tone quality. Understanding proper posture and vocal health practices is also emphasized to ensure longevity and sustainability in singing.
Intermediate and advanced students delve deeper into advanced vocal techniques, such as resonance, dynamics, interpretation, and stylistic nuances across various musical genres. We explore repertoire suited to their voice type and interests, with an emphasis on developing stage presence, emotional connection, and effective communication through singing.
