About Alyssa
With a Master’s degree in Instrumental and Vocal Performance and over eight years of experience as a music teacher, I am dedicated to guiding students in both traditional and electric violin. My extensive background in performance and education allows me to offer a well-rounded approach to learning, whether you're just starting out or seeking to enhance your existing skills. My passion for teaching and music drives me to provide a supportive and engaging environment for every student.
My teaching philosophy focuses on personalization and versatility. I believe that every student has unique goals and learning styles, which is why I tailor each lesson to fit individual needs. From fundamental techniques to advanced skills, my lessons are designed to build a strong technical foundation while also fostering artistic expression. In my violin lessons, each session is designed to provide a comprehensive and personalized approach to mastering both traditional and electric violin techniques. For traditional violin, we focus on fundamental techniques such as bowing, intonation, and finger placement, as well as exploring various styles and repertoires from classical to contemporary.
