Janusz is a native speaker with many years of teaching experience. In my opinion, this is extremely important. He grew up with the language and can recognize all the nuances of pronunciation. He speaks the language as it is used in everyday life and has extensive knowledge of his country, culture and politics.

All in all, anyone can consider themselves lucky to have him by their side when learning Polish. He is personable and it makes it very easy to build a certain connection with him. This was crucial for me as it made learning Polish much easier. In addition, our lessons are much more relaxed and I/we have more fun.

Janusz teaches in a structured way, but is flexible in his lesson planning depending on the mood of the day. Sometimes the focus is on grammar, sometimes communication. The cost-benefit ratio is good.

I recommend taking a trial lesson with him to see for yourself what a teaching style is like.

I recommend Janusz as a tutor. He is very competent teaching polish. He is very patient, he can listen und undestand, what the student needs. Also he has a lot of flexibility and is able to adjust the time of the lesson if there are difficulties.

I have been having weekly lessons with Janusz for 3.5 years now. Janusz is a brilliant teacher who allows you to take things at whatever pace you need. He is so encouraging and helps you learn Polish to suit your interests (e.g. if you need more talking practice or vocab on a particular topic he will support you through that). Really engaging lessons. Also Janusz has been really flexible (particularly with changing times of lessons when I moved halfway around the world - amazing to be able to continue my learning online with him from 11,000miles away!). Couldn't recommend him enough!

I have been studying with Janusz for several years. I was searching for a tutor that taught "outside the box" and was immediately impressed during my trial lesson.
