About Callum
I’m a vocal coach with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice. I’m passionate about helping students build real confidence in their singing and feel at ease when they perform. Whether you're a shy beginner, a teen getting ready for the stage, or an aspiring recording artist, I’m here to support you every step of the way. My lessons focus on breath control, expressive phrasing, and vocal health, giving you the tools to sing with freedom and strength. I specialize in styles like Pop, Indie, R&B, and Contemporary Worship, and I tailor each session to fit your voice and goals. Together, we work on connecting emotionally with songs so your voice tells a story, not just hits the notes. I also help students overcome performance anxiety through guided practice and live performance coaching. You’ll learn to sing with presence, poise, and passion. I’ve seen so many students transform their voices and their confidence—and I know you can too. My teaching style is warm, supportive, and focused on growth. Everyone has a unique voice, and my goal is to help you discover yours and enjoy the journey of musical self-expression.

My singing lessons are designed to help students build strong music literacy and sight-singing skills, ideal for those performing in ensembles or exploring multiple musical genres. I focus on reading notation with confidence, training the eye, ear, and voice to work together seamlessly.
Lessons include regular interval training, which strengthens the singer’s ability to recognize and reproduce pitches accurately. Rhythm exercises, using both clapping and vocal patterns, build precision and fluency across time signatures and styles. For harmony work, I guide students through part-singing, chord structure understanding, and blending techniques, helping them contribute effectively in group settings.
Orchestra singers improve their ability to follow complex scores and blend with instruments. Crossover vocalists expand their versatility by moving smoothly between classical, jazz, pop, and other styles while staying grounded in solid technique.
We use practical tools like sight-singing apps, rhythm trainers, and online notation programs to support daily practice and reinforce learning. Through steady work and focused repetition, students develop an ear-mind-voice connection that sharpens pitch accuracy and musical awareness.
Every lesson is encouraging and goal-oriented, with gradual challenges that match the student’s pace. I aim to make music reading second nature and singing more expressive, reliable, and rewarding.
