About Delvin
Music has been a part of my life for over 15 years — not just as a subject, but as a language of expression.
I am a trained pianist with a Diploma in Music Theory and a Junior Diploma in Hindustani Classical Music. Over the years, I have worked as a composer, songwriter, and educator, constantly exploring how music connects emotion, structure, and creativity.
Teaching, for me, is not just about delivering lessons. It is about guiding students to discover their own musical voice.
Through my journey, I have seen many students struggle because they were taught to follow instructions without truly understanding music. My aim is different. I help students develop confidence, musical clarity, and independence at the keyboard.
As the founder of 12 Routes Music Academy, I have developed a structured learning approach that gradually builds strong foundations in chords, rhythm, listening skills, and creative playing. I believe music should be understood, felt, and expressed — not merely practiced mechanically.
Whether you are a complete beginner, someone restarting after a break, or a learner who wants deeper musical understanding, I create a calm and encouraging environment where growth feels natural and enjoyable.
My classes are disciplined yet relaxed, structured yet creative. I value patience, clarity, and consistent progress. Most importantly, I genuinely care about my students’ development.

My approach to teaching piano and music keyboard is built around musical understanding, ear development, and practical application.
With 15 years of experience as a pianist, composer, and music educator — along with a Diploma in Music Theory and a Junior Diploma in Hindustani Classical Music — I follow a structured learning path inspired by my own “Keys to Music” curriculum.

Each class follows a clear and progressive format:
Technical warm-up and rhythm exercises
Core concept development (chords, progressions, melodic structure)
Ear training activities and listening practice
Song application using the concepts learned
Creative exercises such as variation, improvisation, or accompaniment building

TUITION STRUCTURE
For steady and constructive musical growth, I recommend a minimum of four structured sessions per month (one class per week, preferably on weekends).
Each session is followed by carefully designed exercises and practical tasks to be completed during the week. This ensures continuity, strengthens understanding, and maintains consistent learning momentum between classes.
Once a student joins 12 Routes Music Academy, they become part of our learning community and are added to a dedicated WhatsApp group. Through this platform, weekly exercises, guidance, and progress follow-ups are shared to monitor development and keep the learning process active even on non-class days.
This structured monthly format helps students build strong musical foundations with clarity and confidence.
