I’m a dedicated piano teacher with over 14 years of experience helping students grow into confident, expressive musicians. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Piano, and I specialize in guiding students preparing for music exams, college auditions, and even professional performances. My lessons are always tailored to each student’s goals, strengths, and learning style. Whether you’re aiming for a top score, a scholarship, or your first big gig, I’ll help you get there with the right mix of technique, creativity, and discipline. My piano teaching approach is structured, creative, and supportive. I help students build strong foundations in technique, music theory, and sight reading. Lessons are carefully paced to suit each learner’s goals, whether preparing for exams or developing as a confident performer.
I place a strong focus on reading music fluently and understanding how pieces are built. We use practical sight-reading exercises and rhythm drills to build speed and accuracy. For those working towards performance goals or graded exams, I guide practice routines, stage presence, and memorization strategies.
Improvisation is introduced to develop creativity and musical freedom, especially through scale work and chord progressions. Progress tracking is done through regular feedback, goal-setting, and short assessments. I help students set achievable milestones and celebrate each step forward.
Technology supports our lessons through virtual piano apps, digital sheet music, and metronomes to improve timing and tempo control. I also provide video resources and practice tools to make learning easier at home.
