Barry is a consummate professional not only in the business of teaching English but in all aspects of life. Unlike most other teachers and language institutes, Barry knows the importance of defining and setting goals, He is well aware that the key for students to have a grasp of the language is understanding grammar, which too often in this business is seen as a dirty word. He nevertheless also understands the importance of communicating and using the language and masterfully combines his knowledge of the language to motivate students to communicate effectively, especially for their career and business objectives. The key word is, in fact, MOTIVATE. If I were to use an adjective to describe Barry, it would be MOTIVATIONAL. This adjective is not often used to describe people, but it describes Barry perfectly. Few are the people I have met that is so dedicated to motivating people to be and do their best, but Barry fits the bill. I am fortunate to have Barry as a friend, and, in my view, any student would be fortunate to have him as a teacher and coach.
