About Rory
Hi! My name is Rory and I am an actor/writer/director working in the industry right now. I have a keen interest in aiding people to connect with their truth and artistry to reveal their potential. I am passionate about self-belief, self-development and leading you to offer your best. Alongside acting I also direct. I have vast experience directing actors, specifically in the self-tape environment. I believe those best to teach are those who are already doing. I have attended many masterclasses, worked with coaches myself, worked behind the camera and in the casting process and have a well-rounded view. Come have a free lesson and see what you feel!

Authenticity. Authenticity is the key to unlocking much of what we have to offer as an artist. My approach is based in gently guiding someone to connect to the piece/scene in front of them, helping them to use themselves as a jumping-off point. Using a combination of Stanislavski/Meisner/Laban methodology and simple, effective techniques I have developed over the years I will help root you in a scene and allow you to be free. My coaching sessions are hourly and on Zoom but can be flexible to fit your individual needs. I have a BA Hons degree in acting, a vast experience of auditioning and have worked in the West End, prime time television, independent and studio films. I believe learning to be continuous and talent to be an openness. It's in the choices you make.
