About Gareth
I've worked in Games, Animated Film, Product, and now Animatronics as a Designer, 3D Modeler, Concept Artist, Creature Designer, Lead Artist, and currently working on Animatronics. My experience totals 7 years and counting!
I also have 4+ years experience teaching college and high school students in career, and college prep. I've tutored hundreds of other artists in evolving their craft alongside industry veterans in one-on-one lessons and small class settings.
My passion is Creature Design but I'm experienced in Characters, Visual Development, Illustration, Project Management, and Story Development.

Typical lessons are nurturing and casual but founded in production needs. I'm dynamic and easy to get along with and focus on getting the student's voice heard while learning to fit into chosen productions and tools.
Lessons usually will have demos, feedback sessions, reviews, goal setting, life advice, and small talk about things that make us human and thus, better artists. I love to hear the students' goals out first, the student is always the driver, I'm just there to help navigate.

Details
I can bring necessary materials within reason. Both Traditional tools and Digital ones. Traditional tools may include, pencils, papers, sharpeners, brushes, paint, pens, etc. Digital tools may include, drawing tablet, basic laptop, some software, tools (addons), scripts.
All materials needed by the student must be communicated before the lesson starts and is a discussion. I can't provide everything, but will do my best to ensure the most successful environment.
