About Alana
I am a working professional, who currently works in government relations and public affairs (politics). I believe approaching subjects, study, essay writing and preparation for entering the working world can be approached with an open mind and awareness for what you can achieve. I enjoy teaching and supporting students and learners achieve their goals. I have supported students for the past 10 years across a range of disciplines and subjects, helping each achieve their goals. This has included with the drafting and writing of essays, dissertations, long and short term projects, alongside CV and job applications, and general school learning and development.

I have strong experience tutoring English literature, philosophy, classical civilisation, history and art history across ages ranging from 7 to 21+, alongside supporting university students with both essay writing, proofreading, and CV writing. I am also very happy to work with adults who are looking to improve their writing, reading or essay skills. My approach is to understand the objective at hand, be that looking to attain the highest grade, continually develop, or reach a key goal whilst learning long-term skills along the way. I like to bring a relaxed atmosphere, that looks to help the individual as a person and work to their strengths.
