Ok, there are NO cancellation fees, just as in the Academy. If you miss a lesson, we will try our best to reschedule, failing that? Life is tough. I will expect you to work at everything I say, just to do the work, is all. Of course you can, within reason, go at your own pace, but I reserve the right to discontinue lessons (at the end of any "agreed" term) if I feel that a student is "coasting."
The special rate of £20 per hour is only if a student pays 10 lessons in advance.
I will provide ALL the study material, etudes etc, but the student will be expected, in some cases, to purchase the sheet music for a particular piece he/she will play.
Studies provided include Sevcik, Dont, Wienawskie,Pagagini etc and the Carl Flesch scale system.
The first "free" lesson is only 30 minutes. For this? The prospective student should prepare two contrasting pieces to play (ie, slow/fast?) choice is not at all important. Important is only that I can see the level of the student and where any difficulties may be... SO!! For this reason? It is good that you show me a piece you have difficulty with?
