About Jordan
I am a trained writer and am currently in school for a masters degree in teaching. I studied theatre and creative writing at Ithaca College. During that time, I took many literature and history classes which required developing detail-oriented research, writing, and editing skills. While in theatre, I worked in literary offices of several non-profit theatre companies, specializing in new play development, while also writing my own plays and essays. I have also judged short-story contests and written theatre reviews. I have spent part of my post-college time in working in restaurants and am transitioning back to education. I am ready and available to edit and proofread writing, as well as to tutor in any areas around English and language arts.
