About Caitlin
I've been a screenwriter for 10 years, having had original projects optioned and developed with leading UK production companies. I also have a screenplay that is going into development in 2023.
I'm extremely friendly and supportive, and will help you to bring out your original ideas into script form with confidence, providing a safe space for you to try out ideas and not be defeated by self doubt.
I can talk for hours analysing film and screenplays and am extremely passionate about storytelling in any medium.

A typical lesson will last an hour. We'll learn about the basics of storytelling and screenwriting, including:
- 3 Act structure
- How to format a screenplay
- Compelling dialogue and believable character arcs
- Film theory - what makes a really great film
- The voice of the writer
- Finding stories that resonate
I've been a professional screenwriter for 10 years, having had original scripts go into development with leading UK production companies. I also still work as a screenwriter and have a film going into development in 2023. The lessons are suitable for students level GCSE to A Level, and any University Students who are looking for extra support with studies. I'm also available to teach adults who are looking to develop their writing skills or have a project or idea they'd like to turn into a script.
