About Freddy
I’m Freddy, a writer with over 15+ years' experience in film and commercials.
I graduated with an MA in screenwriting from the London Film School and have had a number of short films produced, featuring Toby Kebbell (Dead Man's Shoes, Control), Robert Sheehan (Misfits) and Vanessa Kirby (Mission Impossible franchise). I was an in-house writer at Ridley Scott Associates where I co-developed a short for Samsung, directed by Ridley Scott, as well as developing TV projects and brand funded IP.
Professionally, I’ve worked as an editor, script reader, and scriptwriter, collaborating with directors such as Susanna White, Jake Scott, Rankin, so I understand the full production journey from script to screen. My commercial background also offers insight into how students can apply film craft across online formats, using storytelling beyond traditional film to build a sustainable creative career.

Writing can be elusive and it’s easy to get lost sometimes. My approach is keep it simple and follow the fun.
Each lesson is structured around a project and your goals. You may have an idea, a script or no idea at all, I’m here to help you move forward and develop practical tools to elevate your thinking. There are no rules, but there are craft skills we can all learn and practise. If you’re interested in:
