About Andrew
I am a AmeriCorps team leader with degrees in both Psychology and Writing and Rhetoric. I have experience tutoring students in English and Literature one-on-one as well as in small groups. I have also worked in my university’s writing center, providing feedback and help to students to perfect their technical and creative writing as well as resume writing.

My teaching approach is student centered- I like to find out what the student needs to know and how far away they are from mastering that goal. I also work to engage the student in their own learning by finding their interests and incorporating those interests into lessons where possible.
