About Katie
As much as most might find writing boring, I hope to establish a fun & relaxed learning experience. After surviving nursing school, and completing courses toward my teaching degree, I can promise you that it's not as bad as it seems!

I've always had strong passion for writing and tend to express myself better through writing than speaking. I excelled in college-level writing courses and truly enjoy using my creativity to craft something others can enjoy as well. If anyone could use a little extra help brushing up their writing skills, I would be happy to lend a hand!

Katie is such an amazing English tutor! She has a natural way of working with younger kids and makes learning reading and writing feel fun and exciting. She is incredibly patient, encouraging, and always celebrates progress, which has helped build so much confidence. We have seen real improvement in both skills and attitude toward learning. We are so thankful for her and would highly recommend Katie to any family looking for an English tutor for younger children!
