About Arta
I have five years of experience as an ESL instructor, teaching kindergarten to adults. My many writing classes have produced great results, having taught up to five essay-writing classes per week, to high-school students and adults.
I also spent years on writing literary fiction; and my professional experience involved creating numerous business documents for corporate audiences.
I am available for teaching composition, even if the student's primary, or sole, language is English.

I don't use grammatical terminology, or present strict structures, or conventions, for the student to follow. This is coaching, not instruction. My writing classes have always centred on guiding the students to discover errors, and opportunities for improvement, by themselves.
My teaching experience involved very advanced learners of English, though I have used writing to improve the listening skills of the young as well.
For students whose sole language is English, I again use coaching to guide them along a path of discovery and improvement.
