About Rebecca
I taught French immersion in Ontario for 16 years. Focused mostly on grade 2 and 3. I have recently moved to Newfoundland and discovered my love of even younger students! I have been teaching French Immersion to kindergarten and grade 1 aged students. Im married and I have two adult children of my own, one with learning challenges I’m also a fur mom to five cats and a new puppy!

My speciality lies in French reading. Following the Science of Reading pedagogy, I will help your child with sound acquisition and letter blends to help them feel confident in their reading ability. Depending on what program they are using in school, I will modify my teaching to support their in class learning. First lesson will always be an assessment class so I know where they are and how best to move them forward.
