About WILLIAM
My name is William King. I am a Linguistics Major and Mathematics Minor graduate from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I have three years of tutoring experience with children across many different grade levels. I'm passionate about tutoring and helping students succeed in school. I think everyone is capable of success, some just need a different approach to the material than others.

My teaching method is entirely catered to the student. I spend the first few lessons observing how the student learns best and what practices I should employ to achieve the highest level of retention and the most efficient use of our time. As a math tutor, the most important thing for mastery of the subject is practice practice practice practice. I like to go over tests and homework with students to ensure that they understand all the material they are currently being given and then craft my problems based on their current curriculum. I am capable of teaching any math subject at any grade level. If you would like referrals for my previous students, please contact me and I'd be happy to provide some for you.
