About Sebastian
I am a singing tutor with over six years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice. My passion is helping students build vocal confidence, overcome performance anxiety, and connect emotionally with every song they sing. I teach a variety of styles, including Pop, Indie, R&B, and Contemporary Worship, tailoring lessons to each student’s goals and interests. I focus on breath control, expressive phrasing, and vocal health to ensure sustainable and enjoyable singing. I also provide live performance coaching, helping students shine on stage and feel comfortable sharing their voice. Lessons are designed for shy beginners, teen performers, and aspiring recording artists alike. I break down challenging techniques into manageable steps, creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. Together, we work on articulation, tone, and musical expression while fostering individuality and creativity. I love seeing students gain confidence, explore their unique sound, and develop a genuine love for singing. My goal is to help every student find their voice and enjoy the journey of musical self-expression. Singing should be fun, inspiring, and empowering. My teaching methodology focuses on developing musicality, pitch control, and emotional expression in every student. Advanced teens and quartet singers work on vocal flexibility through tailored exercises that expand range and control. I emphasize breath support, tone quality, and phrasing to help students deliver songs with confidence and authenticity.
Students practice adapting their voice across genres, from pop to classical, jazz to contemporary, building versatility and expressive depth. I incorporate tools like DAWs, vocal apps, and metronomes to monitor progress and provide immediate feedback. These tools help track pitch accuracy, timing, and dynamic control.
Lessons are a mix of technique, repertoire, and performance practice. Quartet players focus on harmony blending, balance, and ensemble coordination, while solo singers develop phrasing, vibrato, and stage presence. I encourage improvisation and emotional interpretation to make each performance unique.
I provide step-by-step guidance to improve sight-singing, rhythm, and articulation, supporting students in mastering complex passages. Regular recording exercises allow learners to hear their growth and adjust accordingly. My approach motivates students to take ownership of their voice while building confidence in all performance situations.
By combining structured practice with creative exploration, I help singers transform technical skills into expressive, polished performances. Every lesson is designed to inspire, challenge, and nurture each student’s musical identity.
