About Laura
Hi! I am Laura - a 27-year-old Adelaide Hills local. I have a Bachelor Degree in Media and Journalism, and almost a decade experience in freelancing, interning and working full time for multiple newspaper, radio, and other media outlets across Australia. I am currently working full time as a Bid Writer for a national company, and looking to freelance tutor on the side.
I have coached and mentored a team of junior/cadet journalists as well as trained new bid writers in my current line of work.
I have specialised in creative writing, factual news writing, and currently work in structured technical writing.
Each area of my work experience required high levels of grammar, research ability, technical evaluation, and for each piece to be entertaining, unique and factually correct.

About the lesson

Lessons will by tailored to each student and will focus on using their strengths to aid in all aspects of their learning. Lessons will go at a pace appropriate for each student. Lessons will cover everything from English basics, to specific homework requirements, to SACE and ATAR /test preparation.
Each student will leave the lesson with a better understanding of each subject as well as tools to further assist them when Returning to class or for future lessons.
