About Tom
I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Kent studying Social Anthropology. I have held the CELTA for over three years now, an English Teaching qualification accredited by the University of Cambridge. Since then, I have been teaching for a private school in Canterbury City Centre whilst also studying at university. I teach children between 8-18, from levels between Elementary and Advanced levels. With my current younger students, I try to ensure that my lessons are as dynamic and interesting as possible. As well as teaching the English Language, I like to learn from my students too! This involves philosophical debates and insightful discussions! I am very open to adapting my lessons or courses according to the needs of individual students. I particularly enjoy helping students with their pronunciation skills.
