About Abigail
I am 18 years old and I am in the top band known as the Wind Symphony at North Cobb High School. I am 7th chair, I moved due to auditions from 4th. I am good with lower notes, tone quality, articulation, sight reading, tuning, etc. I participated in marching band for the last 4 years of my life playing 2nd part, so if you need your child to be trained for marching, I can do that too! In the past 4 years I have moved up 4 bands into the Wind Symphony. I have had 3 solos, several duets and was 1st chair for Freshman and Sophomore year. I have always been in the top 3 until I moved up to the most competitive and difficult band. Although I am the very last chair I do have my own parts pieces and get to play solos. I enjoy being in the Wind Symphony and I would love to show a performance I was in with them!

As a member of the NC Wind Symphony, I have to have 3 main things when it comes to music; time, patience and passion. My band director, Sheldon Frazier, is one of the most successful band directors out there, he is on his way to get his doctorate. I plan on teaching your child about those things and several things that my band director has taught me over the last 4 years (including life-ish advice). I will teach them how to fall in love with playing every note written on music, tone quality, air techniques, posture and stance, articulation, fingerings, tuning, etc. I plan to do my best with teaching your child music and letting me leave lessons with a bright smile on my face!
