About Saim
Maths has always been my favourite subject, I enjoy maths, and even more I enjoy teaching it to others who are confused or struggling, and seeing the concept suddenly click with them. Tutoring isn't an hour's work for me, It's a hobby I enjoy and am constantly improving at and learning to do better. Apart from maths, I like playing basketball, working out, drawing, hanging out with friends etc.

Throughout school maths was the subject I most passionately and enthusiastically enjoyed. Throughout my A levels I tutored and taught a lot of my friends on entire topics they couldn't understand for free as I enjoyed it. Lessons are on average an hour long but times are very flexible depending on the student and parents' personal needs, I have a very open schedule. Preferably I'd like to know the topics we are working on in the next lesson so I can prepare the lesson. I believe that maths is a skill that can be learnt and improved by anyone of any ability. Nobody is bad at maths. I put emphasis on patience and positive feedback as I understand it can sometimes take multiple tries to properly understand a topic. The last thing I want is for my student to become discouraged, rather they should find enjoyment in maths. I find great satisfaction in the moment in which a particular concept clicks with my student. I aim to communicate concepts in a succinct and coherent way that is personalised so they can understand it well. The most important asset to a capable mathematician is self-confidence, belief in their ability. not being discouraged by "failure". Once this is developed a student will start to be able to think about and attempt a problem in multiple ways, feedback and develop on their own attempts, and learn and improve their maths on their own at a massively increased rate. Thus they will be able to continue improving even without tutoring. A confident mathematician will score multiple grades higher than an equally able mathematician lacking self-confidence. A in A level maths, I specialised in mechanics and calculus often scoring 100% in tests. 7 and 8 in GCSE maths and physics, respectively 2 Years experience tutoring peers in Sixth form and college engineering students Studying engineering next year at university I teach GCSE students and AS level students struggling with calculus and mechanics.
