I’m a passionate singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Contemporary Music (Voice Major). I specialize in helping students prepare for auditions, competitions, and stage performances with confidence and skill. Whether you’re aiming for a conservatory placement, a school talent show, or a musical theater lead, I tailor each lesson to your unique goals. I teach a wide range of vocal styles including Classical, Broadway, Pop-Rock, and Music Theater. My approach blends technique and expression, focusing on diction, range development, vocal agility, and dramatic interpretation. I guide students in selecting the right repertoire to showcase their strengths and stand out in performance settings. I’ve worked with school students, drama majors, and adults returning to music after a break. Each learner receives personalized coaching to enhance their voice, boost confidence, and connect emotionally with their material. Sessions also include breathing techniques, resonance exercises, and performance critique using video feedback when needed. Using DAWs like GarageBand or Logic Pro, students can record and review their sessions to track pitch accuracy and dynamics. They’ll explore genre adaptability by singing pop, indie, jazz, and R&B, learning to shift vocal style accordingly. Vocal apps like *Vocal Pitch Monitor* and *Vanido* help them fine-tune pitch and breath control. **The Quartet Player** works on blending and harmonizing, using metronomes and group DAW projects to stay rhythmically aligned. Exercises emphasize vowel matching and tuning with others while maintaining individual tone identity. Emotional expression is built through storytelling techniques, phrase shaping, and singing in multiple languages. Confidence grows as they lead small ensemble rehearsals, record harmony layers, and analyze group playback. Both personas perform weekly in mock settings to develop stage presence. Their sessions include guided improvisation to encourage creative exploration.
