About Kaya
With over 6 years of teaching experience and a **Bachelor of Contemporary Music (Voice Major)**, I am passionate about helping singers discover their unique sound and perform with confidence. I’ve guided students through **auditions, competitions, and stage performances**, helping them shine both technically and artistically. My lessons are designed to build a strong vocal foundation while nurturing creativity and individuality. I specialise in **Classical, Broadway, Pop-Rock, and Music Theatre** styles, tailoring each session to suit the student’s vocal goals and strengths. Through focused work on **diction, range development, and vocal agility**, my students learn to sing with clarity, flexibility, and control. I also emphasise **repertoire selection** and **dramatic interpretation**, ensuring every performance connects emotionally and stylistically with the audience. Over the years, I’ve worked with **school students, drama majors, and adult singers** returning to their passion for music. My approach combines structured training with an encouraging, performance-driven mindset. Together, we explore tone, emotion, and storytelling through song.
