About Alisa
Technical mastery of vocal health and care, pitch control, and vibrato control remains my primary focus. Honestly, I find that even singers with vast experience still struggle to balance head and chest voice effectively. I hold a Bachelor of Music from Manhattan School of Music and have spent 13 years guiding students through belting technique and vocal range extension.
My work covers genre styling across pop and musical theater alongside microphone technique and detailed diction and articulation for exam preparation. Helping nervous beginners find their sound while refining complex exam candidates keeps my work varied. I bring a concept first approach to everything I teach, ensuring the foundation is always secure.

Concept first work means starting with the mechanics before layering in the artistry. Sometimes I think the best results happen when a student stops worrying about the sound and starts focusing on the physical sensation of singing.
Using a personalized song list built around each student's range is how I ensure that technical exercises translate into actual performance. My degree from Manhattan School of Music informs how I break down complex ideas for my students.
We will examine your specific vocal goals, whether that involves preparing for an upcoming grade exam or simply improving your daily control.
