About Jonathan
I have been playing guitar for more than 12 years now and have learned how to play many other instruments at a very high level as well along the way. I grew up in a musical family who pushed me to strive in my musical journey. I have had a few different guitar teachers, all who had their own unique styles. I can teach at a theoretical approach or through patterns and using your musical ear or both! I have very strong knowledge in music theory as I had two university level teachers who pushed me to go to university for guitar, however I did not see enough need for guitar teachers around me at the time and chose other career paths instead. I hope to keep teaching online in the evenings to keep spreading the freedom of music.

I have been taught by two guitar university graduates that have pushed me to dive into the emotional side of music alongside the theory. I have done a lot of songwriting and tread in a large variety of music styles. I used to teach until I relocated and wish to bring back the joy I found in passing along my musical skills to the young and old. I can teach at any level and take a theoretical approach or teach using patterns and your musical ear.
