About Sam
I'm looking to provide someone with the high level tuition that I wish I'd received when learning Guitar. My Style is metal influenced from bands such as Metallica and Lamb of God - if you are a like-minded individual I believe I'm the tutor for you! I do have a background in music education, although this is my first venture into sharing my knowledge and skill from an online - one to one perspective. I have a degree in Popular Music Production, ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory and I worked as a Music technician/teaching assistant in a secondary school for a year. Perfect! This was my first time taking any kind of guitar lesson but Sam was very kind and accommodating throughout. I was worried about my awkward availability but he was happy to work around it with me, also providing resources to look at until next time. Many thanks!
- Dan already gave himself a baseline to learn from, by teaching himself the basics of holding and fretting the Guitar. This made our Initial Lesson a breeze and we were able to effectively set goals and expectations...we were also able to cover some basic Music Theory, Scales and Chords without it being overwhelming! :)Sam's response :

He was really helpful to a son of a close friend and inspired him with his eclectic knowledge of different music genres and guitar techniques.
His ability to transfer his skills and knowledge at an appropriate level is of a very high standard.Sam has a fabulous personality & is calm when teaching at any level of ability.
