Having a BSc from the University of Melbourne is less important than how you translate complex economic data into actionable insights for high school, AP, and IB Economics students. Most people assume that understanding inflation and unemployment is about memorizing textbooks, yet it is actually about mastering the underlying mathematical logic of market failure. My 3 years at a fintech firm allow me to ground microeconomics and international trade concepts in the harsh reality of modern market fluctuations. I work with high-achieving ATAR and business students who realize that economics is the language of modern commerce.
My teaching style ignores fluff to focus strictly on the mechanics of supply and demand and monetary policy. I evaluate every student through a diagnostic essay assessment first to identify precisely where their logical chain of reasoning fails.
