About Scout
I am a dedicated piano tutor with 9 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Collaborative Piano. My teaching approach emphasizes critical thinking, musicality, and individualized learning tailored to each student’s goals. I believe in holistic development, integrating music theory, ear training, history, and technical skills into every lesson. I have worked with students from Early Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate levels, as well as aspiring professionals and expert musicians. Each lesson is designed to challenge, inspire, and nurture both skill and creativity. I focus on developing confident performers who can interpret music thoughtfully and expressively. Beyond technique, I encourage curiosity and a deeper understanding of music as an art form.
